Friends of Scouting - Approaching our Goal!

posted Feb 10, 2018, 2:34 PM by Cub Scout Pack 6 Chatham, NJ

Dear Pack 6 Parents,

Last December we officially kicked off our Packs’ 2018 Friends of Scouting campaign, an annual campaign that helps support our council with voluntary donations.

Our Pack has a goal of $3000 –  we have currently raised $2103.

I know we can reach and beat this goal if all the families of the Pack participate – no amount is too little!

If you have not turned in a pledge card, please go to the Pack’s Friends Of Scouting page at and make your pledge/donation now!

When we reach our goal, our Pack will earn some incentives – among them, up to $150 to spend at the Scout Shop for advancements and materials and we can even earn additional commission on our popcorn sales! These incentives come directly to our Pack!

We need your help today to create bright futures for our young men and women.

Also, you can easily double your donation via one of the many programs available at the workplace. If you are not sure if your employer has a matching gift program, you can check this site,   Some companies also give grants based on your volunteer hours.

Thank you for your continuous support and for helping us reach our goal.
